Because they heard the best reservoirs are always found up high! Seriously though, sometimes it feels like we’re climbing mountains just to reach that elusive sweet spot in a formation. Just thought I’d share a chuckle from the field.
, I feel that frustration! We once hiked a hillside for hours only to find out we were just a few feet away from a major fault line. It’s wild how the best spots can seem right there but are just out of reach — made me wish I’d brought a better topo map.
That’s so true! I once trekked three miles for samples, only to find better ones right by the truck. @jordan_wilms82, it’s always worth checking the obvious spots first.
