EMAT or MFL-AX for SCC in wet gas

Has anyone run high-res EMAT versus MFL-AX for SCC in a 20" wet gas trunkline? We logged 37 crack-like indications over 120 km last month, including near an HCA river crossing, and I’m weighing tool choice and validation digs to keep risk ALARP without blowing up the dig count.

I’d lean EMAT; focus digs around the “HCA river crossing”; confirm condensate lift-off specs; what’s the coating?

One thing that’s worked for me: take IMU strain from the same run and rank the 37 calls by proximity to peak longitudinal strain, then only dig the ‘high amplitude + high strain’ intersections — cut our dig count by about 40% on a 20″ wet gas line. Do you have recent IMU to overlay? EMAT will help on axial SCC, but I’d still ask the vendor for joint-level “confidence bins” before locking in the dig plan.

@OP Overlay CP excursions/DCVG with the “37”; EMAT if tape disbonding suspected. Any CP hits at the crossing?
